Additionally, it features an intumescent door seal that expands at high temperatures, sealing the door from fire and smoke.
The MVEX-2916 excels in burglary protection, boasting a standard UL listed RSC burglar rating. Its features include a body constructed with six-sided 2-inch thick composite materials, along with up to five 1/4-inch hardplates positioned at angles inside the door to maximize drill attack prevention. Further security measures include relocking devices linked to a glass plate to safeguard against lock attacks, and a reinforced solid continuous dead bolt on the hinge side, ensuring security even if the hinges are tampered with. For additional security, it includes an anchor hole at the center, highly recommended for bolting the safe to a solid surface.
The standard lock on the MVEX-2915 is the Securam Digital Lock with a TopLit keypad, with the option for installation of a UL Group 2 S&G dial combination lock at an extra cost.
